In my time at Parcel I was primarily involved with managing operational elements of our last mile deliveries, including carrier negotiation and sourcing, workforce management, and more. Managed the API integration process for new clients. I also implemented a number of operational improvements and tools, including the following: 

  • A system to automate KPI calculation, cutting down time required to generate key business metrics.
  • A barcode scanning solution for package reconciliation, cutting down manual time spent on data entry and reducing errors. 
  • An automated label printing system for our clients, allowing them to scan internal barcodes and print the relevant shipping label (as opposed to printing labels from our site, or integrating with our API). 
  • Automated driver-level analytics to track performance and flag irregularities, along with a notification system flagging some of these metrics to drivers.
